Initial Statement of Intent

Through the next three months I intend to research festivals of various cultures in order to produce physical masks, which can be displayed, worn or photographed. I want to look into various folk and tribal cultures so as I can produce masks that represent those festivals. I want to produce several masks, out of paper folding and using other techniques and materials. I will start looking at origami and other folding techniques. I will also start looking into strange festivals from around the world.
